How much power does a tuned 335i F30 make?

With EuroLab’s MHD custom dyno tune, a stock 335i F30 (306hp) typically makes 365hp at Stage 1. Stage 2 with bolt-ons pushes to 385–410hp. With an upgraded turbo, 500+hp is achievable. All figures SAE J1349-corrected on our Mainline CCS3600 hub dynamometer.

How much does it cost to tune a 335i F30 in Auckland?

MHD OTS (self-flash) is ~$993 for the N55 F-Series license plus $189 for the WiFi adapter. EuroLab’s MHD custom dyno tune is $2,500 incl. GST — including baseline run, custom calibration, and final validation pulls.

What’s the difference between tuning a 335i F30 vs E92?

The F30 335i uses the N55 single-turbo twin-scroll, while the E92 uses the N54 twin-turbo. The N54 has a higher ultimate ceiling (twin turbos can be upgraded independently), but the N55 is more reliable day-to-day and still makes excellent power. Stage 1 results are comparable.

Is Stage 2 reliable on the N55 F30?

Yes. The N55 is a robust engine and handles Stage 2 power comfortably with supporting hardware (charge pipe, downpipe, intake). We also recommend an xHP transmission tune to ensure the ZF 8HP can handle the increased torque — OTS from $589 (F chassis).

Does the 535i F10 respond well to tuning?

Yes — it uses the same N55 engine as the 335i. The heavier 5-Series benefits enormously from the extra torque. A Stage 1 tune makes the 535i feel like a completely different car on the motorway.
