EuroLab operates one of the most advanced chassis dynamometers in New Zealand — the Mainline ProHub AWD CCS3600. This is a hub-coupled dynamometer, meaning it bolts directly to your wheel hubs rather than relying on tyre friction on rollers. The result? More accurate, more repeatable, and safer measurements at any power level.
With a 3,600hp capacity and full 2WD and AWD capability, our dyno handles everything from a stock Golf GTI to a 1,500hp drag car. Whether you need a baseline power run, a full custom ECU tune, or want to hire the dyno for your own tuning session, EuroLab has you covered.
Located in our purpose-built workshop at 27a Neilpark Drive, East Tamaki, our dyno facility is available for professional tuning services and dyno hire by the hour. We specialise in European vehicles and welcome individual car owners, other workshops, and professional tuners. Note: our hub adaptors are designed for European vehicles — we do not currently have adaptors for Japanese or American cars.

Most dynos in New Zealand are roller-based — your car sits on spinning metal drums and the tyres provide the friction interface. This works, but it has serious limitations: tyre slip at high power, inconsistent results between runs, heat buildup in tyres, and difficulty with AWD vehicles.
Our Mainline ProHub system bolts directly to your wheel hubs, eliminating tyre slip entirely. This means:
- More accurate readings — no power lost to tyre deformation or slip

Beware of Inflated Dyno Numbers
Many shops in Auckland run 2WD roller dynos and measure AWD vehicles by either running them in 2WD mode or tricking the vehicle into spinning only one axle. This is not a true or accurate reading — you’re not accounting for drivetrain losses from the axle that’s sitting on the ground. The result? Inflated numbers that look impressive on paper but don’t reflect real-world performance. At EuroLab, our hub-coupled system measures all driven wheels simultaneously, giving you honest, accurate numbers you can actually rely on.

How much does a dyno power run cost?
A baseline power run package (3 pulls with printout) starts from approximately $150–$200. Additional runs and before/after comparison packages are available. Contact us for current pricing.
How much does a full dyno tune cost?
Full dyno tuning sessions depend on the vehicle and complexity. Typical ECU tune sessions range from $500–$1,500. Complex builds requiring extended tuning time may cost more. We provide exact quotes before starting.
Can I hire the dyno without your tuning services?
Yes! Dyno hire is available by the hour for tuners and workshops who want to use their own equipment and software. We provide the dyno, operator, and facility. You bring the car and your tuning setup.
Do you tune AWD vehicles?
Absolutely. Our Mainline CCS3600 is fully AWD-capable with hub-coupled measurement on all four wheels. BMW xDrive, Audi quattro, Mercedes 4MATIC, Porsche AWD — we handle them all.
What information do I get from a power run?
You’ll receive a detailed printout showing wheel horsepower, wheel torque, and RPM curves. We can also provide digital files for before/after overlays. Our hub-coupled system gives more accurate readings than roller dynos.
