How much power can a tuned M276 make?

With a custom dyno tune, the M276 typically produces 430-470hp at Stage 1 (software only). Stage 2 with bolt-ons pushes to 480-530hp. With upgraded turbos and supporting hardware, 550-650+hp is achievable. All figures SAE J1349-corrected on our Mainline CCS3600 hub dyno.

How much does it cost to tune an M276 in Auckland?

EuroLab's custom dyno tune is $2,500 incl. GST. This includes a baseline dyno run, custom calibration for your specific car, and final validation pulls - calibrated for NZ 98 RON fuel and local conditions.

Can a tuned C43 keep up with a stock C63?

A Stage 1 C43 produces around 430-470hp - which puts it very close to the base W205 C63 (469hp). In real-world driving, a well-tuned C43 with a good launch can surprise a stock C63. Stage 2 puts the C43 firmly ahead of the base C63.

Is the M276 reliable after tuning?

The M276 is a robust engine with proven reliability. The factory turbos and internals handle Stage 1 comfortably. Stage 2 benefits from upgraded intercooler piping and a high-flow intake. The 9G-Tronic transmission has ample torque capacity for tuned power levels.

What's the difference between the E400 and E450?

The E450 is the facelift designation of the E400 - same M276 engine but with a power bump from 333hp to 362hp. Both respond equally well to tuning, and a Stage 1 tune brings the E400 beyond E450 power levels.

Should I tune the 9G-Tronic transmission?

Recommended. TCU tuning for the 9G-Tronic unlocks faster shift speeds, higher torque limits, and more responsive shift logic. The difference in shift feel is dramatic - transforms the driving experience, especially in Sport and Sport+ modes.
